Chris has more than 15 years experience working with older adults in both skilled-nursing and assisted-living communities. He has a passion for those that need assistance in achieving independence and the highest quality of life possible. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration with a focus on Long-Term Care. He spent nearly 10 years managing support departments within skilled nursing homes and has spent the last 6 years managing assisted living communities focusing on Memory Care and individuals suffering from cognitive disease. River Oaks of Minnesota has been a dream of his for many years, and he is proud to bring his passion and experience to help those in need.
Corporate Director of Nursing
Jodi has been an LPN for the past 14 years with experience in skilled nursing for the past 20. She started her career as a CNA after attending Hennepin Technical College and graduating in 2001. Currently, Jodi is attending Excelsior College to obtain her RN degree. Her clinical experience includes wound care and behavior management, she has been a manager for the past 8 years in skilled nursing, helping individuals with a mental illness diagnosis. Jodi is dedicated to assuring a positive patient experience as well as improving safety and quality of life.
Greg is a Registered Nurse with 20 years experience in skilled nursing, with 16 years as a Director of Nursing. He graduated from Anoka Ramsey Community College and started his career in Long-Term Care with the Good Samaritan Society. Throughout his work, Greg has sought to advance the work of long-term care. Greg has been involved in the forefront of healthcare services, participating in Quality Collaboratives for the development of best practices for pain management, along with sitting on Quality Committees with the leading trade organizations, Care Providers, and Leading Age. He has a passion for caring for those challenged with mental health issues and believes in creating an environment that optimizes their quality of life. Greg seeks to support resources where those environments can be realized.
Cori has been a Licensed Social Worker for the past 8 years. She obtained her Bachelor degree from Bemidji State University and is currently pursuing her MBA from Augsburg College. During those 8 years as a social worker; Cori has worked in skilled-nursing facilities, with those who have high medical needs, mental illness and working on rehabilitation. Cori is a passionate advocate for independent living, quality of life, and quality of care.
Robb Flaherty – Wilcox
Robb has worked in the healthcare field, specializing in patient care for the last 12 years. He has more than 6 years of experience as a CNA working in a long-term-care facility, and as an anesthesia tech in the operating room of a major hospital. He is a St. Cloud State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology and Geriatric Care. Prior to joining River Oaks of Minnesota, Robb has had extensive experience managing 7 high-medical and behavioral adult corporate foster homes in Minneapolis, MN. Robb has a passion for working with older adults in the healthcare field and enjoys bringing his experience to assist in the coaching and development of the staff at River Oaks of Minnesota.
Jonathan has many years of experience in various care settings. He got his first job at one of the first dementia communities in MN at age 16. After graduating from Northwestern College with a BA in Psychology, he earned his MS in Long Term Care Administration/Gerontology from the University of North Texas. He has worked in a number of retirement, assisted living, and memory care communities in California, Illinois, and Minnesota. Jonathan is passionate about providing excellent care and customer service and loves to teach, encourage, and support the members of his team to do the same.
