“Just over a year ago my family member moved into River Oaks at Shady Ridge. She was very sick for four years and had been dealing with rapid cycling of her illness. With a change of medications and the opportunity to have a more permanent home that she can return to; she has had a dramatic change in her wellness. The medication administration is excellent and done on a daily individual basis. My family member has no fear of not getting her medications properly. My experience at River Oaks was memorable. Came here with my dad to look at options for him and we loved that it doesn’t look like your typical assisted living home. We felt like we were in a nice hotel. The staff is great and very caring to all of the it’s residents. Can truly see the amount of dedication they put in to them. We also noticed some beautiful new renovations done to the property and rooms. We are definitely keeping it on the top of our list to consider. The River Oaks of Minnesota has been an incredible place for my father. The staff does an outstanding job and truly loves their residents. The facility is absolutely magnificent. They regularly welcome friends and family to wonderful special events with open loving arms. The resident feel like they are able to host his family. This past weekend they went above and beyond to make a very special milestone birthday party for my father that created beautiful memories for our entire family. It is a truly special place!
